A quiet, tactile workspace shaped by material sensitivity and a sculptural approach. Based in Copenhagen, Malene Knudsen works at the intersection of form and function - her background in architecture informing a practice rooted in proportion, balance, and detail.

Her ceramic pieces exist somewhere between object and artwork - each one distinct, with subtle variations that invite closer attention. Designed either as standalone forms or for minimal arrangements, they carry a refined, almost architectural presence.

For her atelier, we introduced transparent curtains in soft beige and off-white tones. Light filters gently through the fabric, creating a diffused atmosphere that shifts throughout the day. The subtle texture of the curtains echoes the tactile quality of her ceramics - a quiet dialogue between surface and light.

The result is a space that feels both calm and alive - an environment that supports focus and making, while reflecting the understated, thoughtful nature of her work.
