Project: Residential Apartment
A Copenhagen home shaped by a distinct visual language - expressive, layered, and confidently personal. In her Østerbro apartment, Emili Sindlev brings together colour, texture, and print in a way that feels both intuitive and intentional.
For this space, the curtains were approached as an extension of her styling - not as backdrop, but as part of the composition. We explored a mix of prints and tactile surfaces, allowing contrast and character to emerge through subtle shifts in material and pattern.
Soft, muted tones were introduced to ground the bolder elements - creating moments of calm that let the prints stand forward without overwhelming the room. The curtains move lightly within the space, adding rhythm and warmth while maintaining a sense of ease.
The result is a home that feels lived-in yet composed. Where expressive choices are balanced by softness, and where each element contributes to an atmosphere that is both inspiring and distinctly her own.
